Latter-day Saint Missionaries Perform “Is There Room”

The Church of Jesus Christ in Hawaii page posted the following video of missionaries in the area performing the song “Is There Room.” It was performed by Elders Auapa’au, Fifita, Iongi, and Togisala, with piano accompaniment by Elder Giles.

The song was originally performed by Sailiata Fano. The lyrics are below.

When I think of Joseph
With Mary by his side
A long, long way from home
Poor and weary
With no place to stay
They did not complain
And within my heart
I wonder…
Is there room?
In your heart for Christ the Lord
He stands knocking at your door
Is there room?
He’s waiting with his open arms
For He has room for you
Joseph must’ve wept
Thinking how could this be where
His true king would be born in a lowly stable
But with Mary’s courage
Joseph knew this was to be
And within my heart
I wonder
Is there room?
In your heart for Christ the Lord
He stands knocking at your door
Is there room?
He’s waiting with his open arms
For He has room for you
Aaaaahhhh
Is there room?
(Is there room?)
Is there room?
(Is there room?)
And within my heart
I wonder…
I wonder…
Yes, there’s room
(Yes there’s room)
In your heart for Christ the Lord
(In your heart for Christ the Lord)
He stands knocking at your door
Yes there’s room?
He is waiting with his open arms
For he has room for you
Ooohhh
(Room for you, there’s room for me too)
Yes, he has room
(Has)
For you
(Oooohhhh)
