Movie: Six Days in August

Mark your calendars: the new film Six Days in August hits theaters on October 10, 2024. This gripping historical drama delves into a pivotal moment in August 1844, right after the tragic deaths of Joseph and Hyrum Smith.

Six Days in August

During this turbulent time, Sidney Rigdon and Brigham Young, leading the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, both stepped up to assert their claims to lead The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This era was a first for the Saints, as they had never faced the death of a Church president before.

The film comes from the Interpreter Foundation, known for its previous works like Witnesses, Undaunted, and the Witnesses Video Series.
